The Case:

"A handwritten Chronicle from Römerstadt, from the same time, reports: that in January 1685, in Friedland, a market place that was part of the Herrschaft Langendorf, an old woman had died, who soon after her death had walked around like the living Devil, had shouted, made noises, danced, and pestered the people day and night, and who then on the 12th of May had been cremated."

The Date:

We have been given the date of destruction of this Vampire: 12 May, 1685.

The Place:

I found no less than 3 Czech places that used to be called Friedland. The only one that is in the right area is Friedland an der Mohra, which is now called Bridlicná nad Moravicí. It can be found West of Bruntal.

Possible Follow-Up:

First find the interesting article where I found this case. And then you can go in search of the Chronicles and other sources that are mentioned there.
