The Source:

Claude Lecouteux:
"Histoire des Vampires - Autopsie d'un Myth"
Ed. Imago, France, 1999

The Case:

In 1610, in Braunseifen a dubious corpse was handed into the care of the local priest, who declared that the devil was strongly present within the corpse. At the specific request of the dead man's own children the body was cremated at the 6th of May.

The Date:

We can't complain, because we have been given a nice date: the year of 1610.

The Place:

Braunseifen is now called Ryzoviste and can be found in the Czech Republic, North of Olomouc (Olmütz).

Possible Follow-Up:

It may not look like much of a case, but to me every authentic historical case is important. Sadly no source is given here. But I am pretty sure that I have seen Braunseifen mentioned elsewhere. We have a date, we have a place name. Claude Lecouteux is a most serious researcher. So there must be a source for this case. Let's go find it.
