anon :

"Langenscheidt Universal-Wörterbuch Polnisch" [2003]

Langenscheidt, Berlin, Germany, 2003 - pp.430

Small but useful dictionary. So until the day when I decide to buy myself a larger Polish "Slownik", I will be quite happy to use this little book.

Kornelia Dobkiewiczowa :

"Karlikowy Ganek - Legendy i podania o polskim srebzre" [1987]

Wydawnictwo Slask, Poland, 1987 - pp.180
ISBN: 83 216 0723 3

Bronislaw Heyduk :

"Legendy i Opowiesci o Krakowie" [1980]

Wydawnictwo Literacki, Krakow, 1980 - pp.216
ISBN: 83 08 00496 2

Nicely illustrated book with interesting stories and legends from Old Krakow.

Wilhelm Gaj-Piotrowski :

"Duchy i Demony w wierzeniach ludowych z okolic Stalowej Woli - Rozwadowa i Tarnobrzega" [1993]

Polskie Towarzystwo Ludoznawcze, Wroclaw, 1993 - pp.228

Brilliant little book with plenty of information about all kinds of supernatural entities from Poland. The book is very nicely illustrated and seems to be quite comprehensive. Now all that I will have to do - God help us all - is learn to read Polish... Thanks very much Upiory, for bringing this wonderful book to my attention !
